What is green hydrogen? How is it produced and what’s the status of the technology in Finland? These and many other questions will be answered during the excursion to P2X Solutions in December!
Lämpövoimakerho or “Energy Engineering Club” will organize an excursion to P2X Solutions Lauttasaari office where we will hear about the company and the first green hydrogen production project in Finland which they are working on. This is a perfect opportunity to hear what the fuss of hydrogen and power-to-X is about! The company is planning an electrolyser to produce hydrogen and to further utilize that hydrogen along with CO2 captured from a Finnish industrial plant to produce synthetic fuels.
The excursion is held in English and meant for anyone interested in the field of energy. There is no entry fee for the event but to participate you should be a member of the club. If you are not a member, you can check the instructions for joining and paying the annual membership fee (5 €) at lvk.ayy.fi/en/join-us.
The registration for the event starts on 17.11. at 12.00 o’clock and closes on 23.11. at 12.00 There are a total of 18 spots for this excursion of which 5 will be reserved for international students and the rest available for everyone. The excursion starts at 14.00 and ends approximately at 16.00. There will be light snacks served at the excursion and the dress code is smart casual.
Note that you must have a valid COVID Certificate to participate in the excursion.
Reserve means that you get in if someone else cancels. If that happens, we will contact the persons in reserve in the order they registered.
